Turmeric Grilled Lamb Chops

Ingredients:
For the Lamb Chops:
8 lamb chops
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
For the Turmeric Marinade:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Organic Turmeric Powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)
Juice of 1 lemon
A handful of fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme), finely chopped
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, turmeric powder, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika (if using), lemon juice, and chopped herbs to create the marinade.
Marinate the Lamb Chops: Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper. Place them in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the lamb chops, ensuring they are well coated. Refrigerate and let marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for more flavor.
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the Lamb Chops: Remove the lamb chops from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill the chops for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Rest the Meat: Let the grilled lamb chops rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.
