Ingredients:
1 whole beef roast (about 3-4 lbs, such as chuck roast or sirloin tip)
1 pinch Organic Saffron Threads
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup beef broth or red wine (optional, for added moisture)
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and saffron threads. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Marinate the Beef: Rub the marinade evenly over the beef roast. Season generously with salt and pepper. For best results, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Roast the Beef: Place the beef in a roasting pan. Pour beef broth or red wine around the roast for extra moisture. Cover with foil.
Cooking Time: Roast the beef in the preheated oven. The cooking time will depend on the size of the roast and your preferred level of doneness. Typically, it takes about 20 minutes per pound for medium-rare.
Rest the Beef: Once cooked to your liking, remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
